Vineyards located on the hillside of Moncalvillo, most of thevineyards are over 50 years old, the main variety is Tempranillo, gobelet trained and manually harvested in the month of October. Tempranillo variety is considered native of Rioja, it is the most characteristic variety of this Denomination of Origin.The soils are ferrous clay type and the average altitude is 400 meters. Tasting

Deep garnet in colour with brick-red hues, clean and bright. The nose reveals a symphony of nuances: liqueur-soaked ripe fruit, fine tobacco, leather, sweet spices, and an elegant balsamic backdrop. On the palate, it is round, silky, and enveloping, with polished tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, noble, deep, and harmonious finish.

Temperature to be served between 15ºC and 18 ºC.

Ideal with cheese, lamb and game.
