3 reasons to visit Bodegas Corral this season (and toast for it)
With the arrival of summer, our hearts crave getaways, nature, and good times to share. And if they can be accompanied by a glass of wine and views of the Riojan vineyards, even better. Because yes, we admit it: few things please us more than opening the doors of our home to offer you a unique, authentic experience, with that touch that only good wine tourism in La Rioja can offer.
So, if you’re looking for wine tourism plans near Logroño, you’ve come to the right place. In this article, we’ll tell you our three favorite reasons to visit us this summer. Whether you’re going as a couple, with friends, or with family, there’s something waiting for you amidst vineyards, wines, history, and the taste of tradition.
1. Because wine cannot be understood without those who live it
At Bodegas Corral, we understand wine as a complete experience. Each bottle we open hides a story, a history that begins in the vineyard and doesn’t end until the last drop is drained in good company.
In our Corral Experience, we invite you to experience this story up close. We’ll stroll through the vineyard that marks the historic Camino de Santiago, visit the winery’s most emblematic rooms, and follow the same journey as the grapes, from harvesting in the fields to becoming Rioja wine.
And, of course, there’s a tasting of three of our wines accompanied by a small paired appetizer. Together, we’ll learn how to taste a good wine, its nuances, the stages involved in a tasting, and why Tempranillo is the undisputed king of these lands. All this during an hour and a half tour that takes place from Wednesday to Sunday at 11:00 a.m. A perfect plan to start the day on the right foot and with a better glass.
2. Because in La Rioja, wine is also eaten
Fancy something a little more special? Then we suggest our most select experience: the Corral Premium Experience. Here, everything is elevated to a higher level: five of our finest wines paired with five signature pintxos designed by the Fuegos y Vinos restaurant. Imagine pairing a Don Jacobo Blanco or an Altos de Corral Reserva with small bites designed to bring out the best in each glass.
And if you want to complete your visit with a truly Riojan gastronomic experience, you can opt for our menu options: both the Corral Experience Gastro and the Corral Premium Gastro offer traditional Riojan cuisine paired with two of our wines. Stews, stews, and recipes with a Riojan accent are perfect for rounding out a day among the vineyards.
In both cases, we recommend booking in advance: the dining room is open only with a minimum of 10 guests. But we assure you that when wine and cuisine go hand in hand, the result is a celebration in itself.
3. Because wine also makes sounds (and dances)
This summer, we also have a very special surprise: on July 12th, we’ll be celebrating our first edition of Música Entre Vinos in La Rioja. We want wine, music, and gastronomy to come together in a memorable event.
The day will begin at 7:30 p.m. with a welcome drink at sunset. This will be followed by an express guided tour for the more curious, and as night falls over the vineyards, a dinner paired with six tapas and six of our finest wines.
The menu is as tempting as it is varied: from smoked anchovies on bread with tuna mayonnaise, to foie gras mousse with anchovy, to Iberian ham croquettes, to a 70% chocolate dessert with almond, mango, and chili flakes. All paired with wines such as Don Jacobo Crianza, Don Jacobo Rosado, or the surprising Altos de Corral.
And at 10:30 p.m., the finale: a live concert with El Pájaro Volador and wine bar service throughout the evening. Because if there’s a place where music and Rioja wine go together perfectly, it’s here.

🍷 ¡Salud!
